Beyond our team, women (past and present) have profoundly shaped the science of foraging ecology, often despite systemic barriers that have limited opportunities and recognition. These biases continue to impact the scientific community and landscape, and progress requires proactive and persistent effort.
On this day, and every day, we are committed to an equitable future in which the contributions of women and girls to science are fully recognised, valued and celebrated.
